Youth Ministry
Each time a child is baptized, we as a community of faith promise to share responsibility for bringing him or her to worship and teaching the Ten Commandments, the Apostle’s Creed and the Lord’s Prayer, as well as providing instruction in all aspects of the Christian faith.
Lutheran Church of the Cross is a place where children can come to have fun learning about Jesus and the Bible. We provide a vibrant Sunday morning and Wednesday evening program, which is growing in size each year and now numbers nearly 400 students! The dedicated teachers and helpers provide a loving and friendly Christian environment. The lessons include age appropriate Bible stories, music, and activities designed to introduce children to Christian principles and the Lutheran tradition – while building a foundation for lifelong faith.
All classes are in full swing, but it's never too late to enroll your child into classes at LCC.
We offer several session times to fit families busy schedules:
- Sundays at 9am for Preschool - 4th Grade
- Sundays at 10:10am for K-4th Grade
- Sundays at 11am for Preschool
- Wednesdays at 7:15pm for 1st-9th Grade

CrossWinds
5th and 6th Graders
Wednesdays: Worship at 6:30 pm; class begins at 7:15 pm
Students dive deeper into the meaning of the lessons they are learning and how they can apply them to their daily life.

Youth who have not had first communion instruction are invited to attend our "Fed and Forgiven" First Communion classes.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)
